For genotyping of a single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP) in codon 112 of the human APOE gene.The Apolipoprotein E(APOE) - encoding gene is polymorphic with three common alleles: ε2, ε3, and ε4. Two SNPs, designated APOE 112 and APOE 158, result in amino acid substitutions at positions 112 and 158 of the protein.The two Hs_APOE PyroMark Custom Assays genotype these two APOE polymorphisms.
