Acts upstream of or within G2/M transition of mitotic cell cycle and regulation of calcium-mediated signaling. Located in membrane; myelin sheath; and vesicle. Part of voltage-gated potassium channel complex. Is active in calyx of Held and presynaptic cytosol. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; brain; heart; metanephros; and sensory organ. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in long QT syndrome 15.
